one semi-successfull showoff
This past saturday, when i took amy to her little gym, at circle time, every parent needed to introduce him/herself and the toddler. When it's my turn, i asked amy what her name is, she refused to say it and made a funny face. While when i asked amy what my name is, she proundly announced, GLORIA LIU!

I think at this age, they start to resent the idea of showoffing FOR their parents. They are perfect fine with self-showoffing though.
