i am constantly wondering what's going on in amy's little big head. cuz she always amazes me by picking up something extra fast, especially if that thing is emotionally related.
like about one month ago, she asked me to color with her. most of the time "we" coloring means i draw little smily faces and then name them amy, mommy, daddy, devin, and randi etc. that day i thought i'd try something new. so i drew a sad face and told her this is sad mommy. ever since then she's been obssessing with it. whenever we draw stuff, she'd alwasy ask for sad mommy,sad daddy, and sad amy. she'd aske me, why is mommy sad? even if i tell her that's just a fake mommy, mommy is happy,mommy likes to draw happy mommy... she's still not satisfied, keep asking for it and pointing at the sad faces, or fake crying herself. since she understands perfectly well what is real and what is fake,i really don't get why she behaves like this.
another thing would be the "amy in mommy's belly" pictures. one day amy dug out some old pictures of us. in some of them i was pregnant. so i told her, see? mommy had a big belly, amy's in mommy's belly. since then, everytime amy goes into that room, she'd try find those pix and repetitively saying, amy in mommy's belly! amy in mommy's belly! yesterday, she even tried to get into my belly by sneaking into my sweater. it WAS super sweet.
